Hello, Hatch friends! As you’ve surely noticed*, Hatch Innovation, in collaboration with our statewide initiative, Hatch Oregon, is hosting the second annual ComCap conference this April 26-28th right here in Portland, OR. This unique conference focuses on how to leverage the new state securities crowdfunding laws across the country to strengthen our nation’s local economies.
Wondering how to get involved?
Here’s a 20% discount for being a part of the Hatch network, and heck, reading this blog post to find it. We sure do appreciate you. Enter the code “HATCHFRIENDS” at the ticket form at the bottom of the post. Now valid until March 7th.
We’ll also be offering a reception-only ticket for the giant kick-off party on Tuesday, April 26, held at Hatch Lab itself. You may remember Governor Kate Brown giving our welcome address last year, our CPO Media Lounge, only-at-Hatch networking, an amazing bar, and more local treats than ever before at Hatch – and that’s saying something.
Plus, we have new and heavily discounted student option for 2016. See here for details.
2. Exhibit or Sponsor.
Is your business or organization interested in reserving one of our remaining exhibitor tables, an ‘in-the-know’ single session sponsorship (this is not available to everyone), or larger sponsorships? Check out the ComCap16 Sponsorship page!
Are you with a great local food & drink or other business that would like to have a featured donation with meal incorporation, attendee bags or silent auction items? Head to the ComCap16 Sponsorship page to sign up and reserve your spot!
3. We Heart Volunteers!
If you’re interested in attending and learning more but aren’t able to grab a full registration this spring, volunteering could be for you. We’d love to have you.
In return for volunteering a minimum of 3 hours, you are welcome to attend the rest of the event. For example, if you volunteer during the Tuesday evening kick-off reception, you may attend the entire education conference on Wednesday and Thursday. That’s a darn good deal.
P.S. Of course, we realize there are a bunch more ways to get involved, so if you have something else in mind (say, do you work with a media outlet? Have you helped drive a crowdfunding law in another state?) email Hatch’s Director of Events and ComCap16 Director, [email protected] to discuss more…and more.
